Call for Submissions: Seaside Stories Art Exhibition—Celebrating Fisheries through Art

As part of this year’s Fishermen's Day celebrations, the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources and the Maldivian Artist Community-MAC invite artists to participate in an art exhibition titled “Seaside Stories – Celebrating Fisheries through Art” that honors our nation’s connection with the sea. We are seeking unique and original works across a variety of visual art categories, all centered around the themes of fisheries diversification and the importance of nurturing a new generation of fishers. Our aim is to offer a platform for artists to express their creativity while raising awareness about the challenges and opportunities facing the fishing industry.
