Permanent Secretary, Dr. Aminath Shafia inaugurated the MSE Capacity Building workshop organized by the Maldives and the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) for the Indian Ocean coastal states today.

The 3-day program will cover MSE frameworks and fisheries management concepts, aiming to enhance understanding of precautionary approaches, Management Procedures, and MSE for sustainable tuna fisheries among Indian Ocean states.
