Minister Ahmed Shiyam Meets with GDh. Fiyoaree Council Members

Minister Ahmed Shiyam has met members of the Council of Fiyoaree, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The meeting was held at the Ministry.

During the meeting, discussions centred on the ongoing development of the newly established fisheries factory in GDh. Fiyoaree. The Minister stated that the design of the fish factory has now been completed, and the preliminary foundation work is currently in progress to initiate the practical construction stage of the fish factory.

Furthermore, the Council members outlined and emphasised the significance of deploying sports Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) and establishing an ice plant for the fishermen at GDh. Fiyoaree
