Minister Ahmed Shiyam Meets Islamic Development Bank Officials

Minister Ahmed Shiyam met with Mr. Muhammad Nassis Bin Sulaiman, Regional Hub Manager, and other senior members of the Islamic Development Bank to discuss the progress of the RSW Financing Project. Accompanied by State Ministers, the Permanent Secretary, Senior officials (MoFOR) and representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Minister Ahmed Shiyam expressed his appreciation for the continued commitment of the Islamic Development Bank and the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF) in supporting livelihoods in the fisheries sector.

The RSW Financing Project provides a sustainable solution to the challenges fishermen face in procuring ice and maintaining the quality of their catch.
