Wang Guanghua, China’s Minister of Natural Resources, during the 2024 Global Ocean Development Forum.  Their  discussions centered on advancing the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 'Marine Cooperation Toward the Blue Economy.' with a shared commitment to fostering sustainable ocean initiatives

Additionally, H.E. Wang Guanghua extended a warm invitation for the Maldives to participate in China’s Marine Scholarship Programs. This initiative presents opportunities for enhanced collaboration and mutual growth in the field of marine studies.
