Transforming Fisheries Management under the South West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project (TransFORM) is now accepting applications for scholarship opportunities for higher education abroad.

Eligibility conditions
A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the course, along with two years of relevant work experience. | For Master’s Degree |
· Grade C or higher in 5 subjects at GCE O-Level · Grade C or higher in 3 subjects at GCE A-Level · A qualification or certificate recognized for university entrance at the foundation or certificate level

Scholarship Conditions and Required Documents to be Submitted with the Application Form:
Copies of educational certificates. (If the document requires attestation, provide the attested copy.)
Copy of the full transcript (with the grading criteria specified).
Proof of English proficiency: overall score of 6.0 in IELTS or 550 in TOEFL.
Copy of a valid National ID card (not expired).
· After obtaining the highest certificate level, an official document confirming the period of service in the Maldives.
· If awarded a scholarship, as per the Maldives Civil Service Act, the recipient will be required to serve/work in the Ministry under a bond agreement. If the applicant is already bonded to another institution, an official document must be submitted confirming release from the existing bond.
· Preference will be given to employees currently working at the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources.
Expenses Covered by the Scholarship
· Course fees
· Annual book allowance (for the duration of the scholarship)
· One-time establishment allowance
· One-time departure allowance
· Monthly stipend (for the entire scholarship period)
More Information:Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications to the Project Management Unit on or before 18 September 2025 (H. Palmera, 3rd Floor, Sosan Road). Applications that are incomplete or missing required documents may be dismissed.
