Minister Ahmed Shiyam officially inaugurated the "Food and Beverage Show 2026"

Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Ahmed Shiyam attended the opening ceremony of the 9th edition of the "Food and Beverage Show 2026" held at Hulhumalé Central Park.

Following the inauguration, the Minister toured the exhibition stalls. During the visit, the Minister enquired about the new and innovative food products showcased by participants at this year's exhibition.

Food and Beverage Show 2026 is organised by High Rise Private Limited. The event aims to bring together wholesale and retail traders and customers working in the food industry under one roof to introduce and showcase the latest products in the culinary sector. The event provides an opportunity for professionals working in the industry to meet on a single platform, strengthen business relationships and explore new business opportunities.

Acknowledging the efforts of High Rise Private Limited in organising initiatives to further expand this industry and facilitate new opportunities for businesses, the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources extended its appreciation to the company. Furthermore, the Ministry recognised this event as a vital platform for promoting opportunities available in the Maldivian food market and advertising local products.
