Minister Ahmed Shiyam Holds Discussions with Chinese Companies on Investment in Fisheries and Mariculture.

Minister Ahmed Shiyam welcomed representatives from multiple Chinese companies exploring investment opportunities in fisheries, mariculture and blue economy initiatives.

During the meeting, the Minister Ahmed Shiyam, outlined the government's strategic plans to develop sport fishing harbors and enhance mariculture initiatives. And expressed his support to facilitate any investments in these areas.

Minister Ahmed Shiyam was accompanied at the meeting by State Minister Dr. Amzath Ahmed, Permanent Secretary Dr. Aminath Shafia, Director General, Shafiay Naeem and Director, Fathimath Fina.
